has been a journalist extraordinaire for Rancor News since he moved out of his mother's basement in 2009. He is a world renown economist in his own mind, schooled at the Ivy League Real World School of Thought. He has considered liberals and their flimsy redistributionist agenda to be the pinnacle of douchbaggery ever since he was spit on at a Kerry/Edwards rally in 2004.Tyson considers himself to be a conservative Conservative who keeps a temple in his own mind. At last count he had destroyed liberals in argument 2433 times with only one loss occuring when a hippy knocked him unconscious at a peace rally before he could make his point. Tyson spends his time waxing political on the issues of our times and solving problems created by Democrat nancies who think throwing money and crying a lot is the solution to every issue. Throwing money and crying a lot should only be done if you win the lottery at a strip club and are overwhelmed by your good fortune.

Rod Strong
is an overall handy man of digital wonderment. Rod has always been interested in a variety of electronics starting when he was a wee lad and his parents first purchased an Apple IIc. What started as mindless punching of keys, quickly turned into a wealth of technical knowledge and know-how of all things computer. Rod met Tyson during elementary school when, one day, he was the hand that helped Tyson off the ground following a heated debate with a larger gentleman regarding the economic significance of a square cafeteria pizza vs the traditional triangle. They have collaborated in a myriad of projects, ranging from the political in nature to the embarrassing albeit awesome musical endeavors. The pinnacle of which went by the name 'Phate' during the height of the 'ph' is cooler than an 'f' movement. As they got older, the mindless days of college spawned the idea of a conservative website who's goal was to bring entertainment and humor to a conservative base clamoring for their own Jon Stewart. Through trial and a great deal of error, rancornews.com is the product of such an endeavor.
Rod is behind he scenes with many of the goings on with the website. He tinkers on small aspects of the website on an almost daily basis, as well as being responsible for the production of all podcasts. He does dabble from time to time in content as well, from various comics to the occasional guest host billing on podcasts. He is relatively sure that he is right, but is always eager to hear an outside view, as long as it coincides with his own.
